I hail from Aberdeen, SD, but have quickly begun to call Louisville home in the last year. Past experiences as an art gallery assistant and a graphic design intern at the SD Cultural Heritage Center ignited my pursuit of a career in public history. It’s a wonderful blend of creativity, history, and working with people…some of my favorite things!
Entering my second year of graduate studies, my research is focusing on regional idioms in contemporary art and how persisting regional expectations of art influence the art-making process.
